Favorite Windows Apps

Record some applications for easy access, by the way recommend to everyone. Below is some of my favorite Windows software that I use.

Readers

  • Pocket - Save web pages/rss feed articles for later and view when ready including offline. Way better than keeping a ton of bookmarks around that you never get back to.
  • Feedly - RSS Feed Reader with Pocket integration.

Editors

  • Notepad++ - A free source code editor which supports several programming languages running under the MS Windows environment.
  • Typora - A minimal markdown editor for Mac and Windows

Browser

  • Chrome: A browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.
  • Mozilla Firefox: A free Web browser. Firefox is created by a global non-profit dedicated to putting individuals in control online.

Utilities

  • calibre: The one stop solution for all your e-book needs.
  • Media Go : Media Go software connects and enhances your digital entertainment world. Music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, games, photos, and more.
  • Evernote: The note-taking space for your life’s work.
  • XnView: Free multi-format graphics viewer with batch conversion and image processing capabilities.
  • LibreOffice: The most actively developed free and open source office suite.
  • Kindle Mate: A freewave with rich features designed to sync, organize, import & export Kindle clippings (Kindle highlights and notes) and Kindle Vocabulary Builder words on computer.
  • NetEase Cloud Music : The free, Chinese equivalent to Spotify Premium
  • Sumatra PDF: A free PDF, eBook (ePub, Mobi), XPS, DjVu, CHM, Comic Book (CBZ and CBR) reader for Windows.
